I am driven by a sense of play and wonder and find inspiration in the natural world and the internal lives of animals. My goal is to create paintings that share a bit of the exuberance and humor that I find with my collectors.

My work is grounded in realism and enhanced with a healthy dose of imagination. Beginning with strong abstract shapes, I paint layer after layer using translucent glazes to bring depth and vibration to my work. These subtle shifts allow room for the viewer’s own history and mood to color the scene.

I am based out of NYC and Chester County, PA. I received a B.A. and J.D. from NYU, and had a wild career as a banking lawyer and Wall Street derivatives trader before becoming a professional artist. I pursued my art education at the Art Students League of New York, where I trained in drawing, painting, and printmaking. My original fine art and prints are now collected nationwide.
